A very comfortable three-seater sofa in solid teak, designed by Ole Wanscher and manufactured by France & Søn / CADO in Denmark during the 1960s.
Although not officially named, the sofa is commonly known as the Senator.
As with all of Ole Wanscher’s designs, no shortcuts were taken. Beautifully sculpted armrests and legs work together with the gently angled backrest to create a piece that combines refined proportions with remarkable ergonomic comfort.
The sofa is in very good vintage condition, showing only minor signs of use consistent with its age. The original sprung cushions remain in excellent shape and have been reupholstered.
