Coffee Table in Teak by Grete Jalk for Glostrup

Teak coffee table designed by Grete Jalk and manufactured by Glostrup Møbelfabrik, Denmark.

The gently curved, rectangular tabletop recalls the shape of a surfboard and displays a rich, expressive grain. Rounded edges and tapered cylindrical legs complement its organic form.

A slatted shelf beneath the top provides generous storage and reinforces the structure while emphasising the table’s light, airy appearance at the same time.

Understated yet confident, the table’s thoughtful details and balanced proportions remind us why Grete Jalk’s work remains so admired.

In excellent vintage condition, with minor signs of use consistent with its age.
