Two "Cube" Side Tables by Kai Kristiansen

Two side tables made of solid teak and glass, designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik, Denmark.

The tables are in excellent condition. One is fitted with clear glass, the other with smoked glass.

Of this brilliant design, Kai Kristiansen said:

“I realised that I could make whole collections with just a few elements. Model VM243 was a testimony to that. Suddenly i realised that no matter what type of furniture I wanted to make, I could make it out of these frames, and it could be made with a limited set of machines. That kind of rationale is what we need today to; there was practically no material waste, only the dust from the cut.
